1. Maintain a healthy weight.

In addition to a healthy and balanced diet, you can manage to stay at your ideal weight with an active lifestyle. As it is known, obesity is an important social health problem that reduces the quality of life and plays a role in the development of many diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, kidney diseases and cancer.

2. Try to add a little more vegetables and fruit to each meal

Since different vegetables contain different nutrients, the vegetables consumed during the day should be diversified. So consume a variety of colors and types of vegetables. Within a day, dark yellow vegetables (carrot, potato), dark green leafy vegetables (spinach, lettuce, curly, chard, purslane, broccoli etc.), starchy vegetables (potato, peas) and other vegetables (tomato, onion, green beans) It should be consumed in a balanced way.

Fruits also exhibit different characteristics in terms of the nutrients and amount they contain. Therefore, their consumption should be diversified. Usually the citrus group and strawberries vitamin C; While cherry, black grape, black mulberry are rich in other antioxidants; Fruits such as bananas and apples are rich in potassium.

3. Drink plenty of water. Water is vital for body health and the continuity of our lives.

Fluid consumption is very important and if there is no special health problem, it is very useful for a person to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. In addition, it has many benefits such as increasing energy, removing toxins, improving skin tone and strengthening immunity. 

4. Be active every day.

To get started, aim for 30 minutes of daily activity. You can also do this in chunks. By exercising regularly, you have taken an important step in the healthy aging process. It is important to have a healthy body that you have a program that includes endurance, strength, flexibility and balance exercises instead of just one type of exercise. Also, many studies show that daily walking helps prevent disease.

5. Find a personal space to refresh yourself.

Especially in developing technology and growing cities, we have become more impatient and live life faster. This situation brings along the rush to catch up. So there is a need to step aside and pause. You can get rid of the stress completely by finding some hobbies, especially when you are stressed. After a while, you will be able to see how happy you will be.

6. Make sure you sleep at the same time

It is very important to adjust the sleep pattern by taking the effort and structural characteristics of the person into consideration during the day. It is necessary for the renewal and revitalization of my cells in a good night’s sleep. The most beneficial part of this regeneration is sleeping at a regular time. Taking a warm bath before going to sleep and sleeping in a dark environment will help you sleep well. Exercising heavily before going to sleep, trying to sleep in front of the television or computer will reduce the quality of sleep.

7. Do not use smoking and tobacco products.

Smoking and tobacco use are harmful habits. It should not be forgotten that smoking and tobacco use are among the responsible factors in the development of cardiovascular diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and cancer. The sooner these bad habits are eliminated, the better.
